As applications of this potential, we examine the behavior of the Roche potential and Lagrangian points as well as elliptic orbits and peri-blackticon shi . GOOD NEWS: Lagrangian points deviate from the Newtonian case, and peri-blackticon(apo-blackti con)shi s take place in a qualitatively similar man ner with the general relativistic case. Hence, the usage of the pseudo-Newtonian potential for the education al scene may extend. BAD NEWS: Quantitatively, the pseudo-Newtonian potential gives the values of 30%lower than the correct ones under general relativity.
