| 内容記述 | 本研究では、エサレンマッサージとよばれるボディワークにおける身体化された学習の特徴を見出すために、4名のエサレンマッサージ・プラクティショナー(=EMP)を対象に、半構造化インタビュー調査を実施した。得られたデータはSCAT法により理論記述を導出し、その後フレーレやローレンスの論から5つの枠組みを設定し、調査協力者の理論記述を身体化された学習の文脈から読み解く作業を行なった。分析の結果、EMPは、エサレンマッサージがホリスティックな体験をクライエント(=CL)にもたらし、身体だけではなく、感情、精神、スピリチュアルな領域での変容をももたらすと捉えていること、CLの身体を観察し、CLに安全な場の提供をしていることが示された。これらのことから、エサレンマッサージは、身体化された学習であることが示唆された。|In order to detect the characteristics of the embodied learning in Esalen Massage bodywork, a semi-structured interview survey to 4 Esalen Massage Practitioners (=EMP) was conducted. Theoretical descriptions were drawn out by SCAT Method, and then using 5 frameworks of analysis by the ideas of embodied learning of Freiler, T.J. and Lawrence, R.L., we analyzed the data from the context of embodied learning. From this analysis, we gained the following points; 1) EMP was thinking that Esalen Massage was bringing forth holistic experiences and embodied knowledge to the clients, coupled with the change in the realm of spirituality or emotions, 2) EMP was observing the clients' body conditions and tried to ensure the safety of the therapy. From the above observations, we considered that Esalen Massage was a kind of embodied learning. | |||||||||||||||||
