| 内容記述 | 本報告では実際の樹木の写真を計算機に取り込み,フラクタル次元を求める手法を使って画像解析をした。勾配,Laplacian,Forsenの3種類のフィルターを用い,閾値の値を変化させる時の次元の変化を解析した。次元の変化のグラフに3次関数を当てはめ,3次と2次の係数の相関を求めたところ非常に高い負の相関を示すことがわかった。この結果は対象とした樹木の種類やフィルターによらず共通に見られた。|In Mandelbrot's famous book, there are reported some examples which determine fractal dimensions of shapes in nature, such as seashore lines. We are, in this paper, dealing with photographs of actual plants, and we process them by three digital filters (differrential, Laplacian, and Forsen filter) to extract their edges. The differential and Laplacian filters are linear, and Forsen filter is modefied one of non-linear Roberts filter. We calculate fractal dimensions of those edge images, by box-counting method. To analyse statistically behavious of their dimensions for various values of threshold, we approximate the graphs of dimensions by cubic polynomials, by using the least-square method. We observe extraordinarily high negative correlations between cubic and quadratic coefficients of such cubic polynomials. | |||||||||||||||||
